At Emerios, we manage regulatory requirements across 45 states, provinces and territories in North America, so we understand teams are under a lot of pressure to keep up with business demands. Our experienced team has a customer-oriented culture with proven knowledge of the Lifeline program, regulated industries, and software development best practices.
In 2008, we aided the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the conceptualization and design of the National Lifeline Accountability Database (NLAD). It is estimated that NLAD has saved the Universal Services Administration (USAC) millions of dollars by reducing fraud, waste, and abuse in the Lifeline program.
In addition to our work with the FCC, we have built a unique software platform specifically developed to support ETCs operating the Lifeline program.
The Lifeline program is a simple concept providing benefits to the most underserved people in our communities. However, the introduction of significant and appropriate checks and balances within the program has in turn created complexity.
Managing multiple systems to comply with FCC requirements has driven the cost of acquisition higher each year for ETCs.
Our mission is to support ETCs to improve compliance, reduce churn, and simplify their subscriber acquisition process, leaving them to focus on the business of serving their customers.
