Purpose of the Position:
  • Responsible by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing the network software and associated operating systems.
  • Ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems that support core organizational functions.
  • Collaborate with IT automation activities.
  • Create reusable and maintainable process guides.
  • Complete project documentation on schedule.
  • Test and evaluate new technology.
  • Follow internal controls and procedures at the Team, Business Unit and Organizational levels.
  • Following, Monitoring, Quality and Effectiveness of controls and procedures to ensure optimal function within the department.
Responsible by:
  • Deploy new servers, applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems.
  • Assist with cost-benefit and ROI analysis to aid management in making purchasing decisions.
  • Ensure system availability of all IT services, shared software, client software and other applications related to company and its customers.
  • Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
  • Monitor and test system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports.
  • Identify opportunities, design and implement solutions to automate repetitive processes to reduce effort needed to maintain a stable and reliable infrastructure.
  • Assist with server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes (Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Planning).
  • Design and perform server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company’s disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
  • Enforce best-practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software problems on servers, solutions and environments.
  • Create performance monitoring processes & procedures reporting results.
  • Follow policies, procedures and associated training plans for system administration and the appropriate use of resources.
  • Follow internal controls and procedures at the Team, Business Unit and Organizational levels.


Qualifications:

  • Office 365 Administration: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Defender ATP.
  • PowerBI Administration (nice to have)
  • Ubuntu Server and Windows Server administration.
  • Kubernetes and/or Docker administration (nice to have).
  • Hyper-V, IIS, Failover Cluster, DFS and Active Directory infrastructure.
  • Cloud services (AWS, Azure) will add bonus points to the application.
  • Microsoft System Center Suite administration (nice to have).
  • Desirable knowledge using scripting languages (PowerShell and/or Bash).
  • ELK Stack (ElasticSearch, Logstash and Kibana).
  • Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and/or NO SQL databases (Redis for example) management and monitoring experience (nice to have).
  • Configuration and management of Fortinet networking devices.
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws (nice to have).
  • Knowledge of ITIL and/or other similar frameworks.
  • English proficiency.
  • BS degree in SW Engineering and/or equivalent experience.
